Chef Marvin was great to work with. He provided and beautiful menu and provided lots of great options for adjustments. He was very communicative in advance of the party. On the day of the meal, he arrived on time and had us settled and eating quickly. The service was friendly and the pace of the meal was good. The food was excellent and exactly what I was looking for in a celebration dinner! I’d recommend Chef Marvin to anybody.

Chef Marvin and Ryan made our 6-person birthday dinner an unforgettable experience! Each of the four courses were outstanding. The seared scallops appetizer was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The seasonal salad (grilled peaches, burrata, and a prickly pear dressing) was loved by all. And the rack of lamb was the best lamb any of us have had. The dessert, a dark chocolate flan with raspberries, was decadent! From planning with Chef Marvin before the meal, through the end of the night (including thoughtful touches like a birthday candle for the birthday guy), the process was smooth and communication was quick and clear. Ryan took great care of our group during the meal from start to finish! Perfect for a special occasion, or an elevated dining experience without the loud noise of a restaurant or concerns about bringing a baby along, both of which were important for our group.

Wow! Where do I begin?! Chef Marvin and his team exceeded any and all expectations we had. We hired Chef Marvin to cook for our bachelorette as a fun experience, but it was so much more than we could have imagined. The food was absolutely phenomenal, flavorful and appealing to both the senses and the eyes. Chef Marvin and his team were so kind and made our evening so stress free, elegant and fun! If you’re looking for an elevated/elegant experience without having to go to a restaurant, I cannot recommend them enough!

I can write a book on how great this experience was! The food was AMAZING! His interaction and explanation of the course was 5 star! My wife was wowed from the experience as well as the food! Truly made my first anniversary a scene right out of a storybook! 10 out of 10!!!!!!!

One word… WOW. We had a truly unforgettable evening. Chef Marvin is a top notch food professional. Everything from the main dish to the garnishes were out of this world. The flavors were unique yet compatible. Chef Marvin was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and even funny. This was more than just a meal, it was an experience. Memories were made that won’t be soon forgotten. Do yourself and your guests a favor and hire him for your next event. You won’t regret it. Seriously, I have had dreams about the food. The meal and service were great, but I want to comment on the experience. Anyone can drive downtown and get a halfway decent meal, but this was private and intimate - we ate on our timeline without having to flag down wait staff and the uncomfortable Toast tip moment, plus we had dogs who also enjoyed our 5-star dinner! Considering the food was 5-star yet the cost was comparable to going downtown, I will definitely book again the next time I am in fredericksburg..
